Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the J&Z Foundation website at jz-foundation.org and to the text messages J&Z Foundation Inc. ("J&Z Foundation," "we," "us") sends to people who sign up for them at our events and programs. By using the site or signing up for text alerts, you agree to these Terms.

1. Text messages

When you sign up through one of our forms, such as an event waitlist or program sign-up, and agree to receive text messages, we send you only the messages described at sign-up, for example a text letting you know your turn is ready. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of taking part in any event or program.

Message frequency varies by event or program and is described at sign-up. Message and data rates may apply.

2. Opting out and getting help

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message and we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will not receive more messages from us unless you sign up again. Reply HELP for help, or email info@jz-foundation.org.

3. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include major U.S. wireless carriers, but delivery is not guaranteed on every carrier or device.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate information, to sign up only with a mobile number that you own or are authorized to use, and to tell us if you change or give up that number. You must be at least 18 years old to sign up, and you may sign up a child only if you are their parent or guardian. You agree not to misuse the site or our sign-up forms, for example by submitting false entries or interfering with how they work.

5. Events and programs

Waitlist positions, estimated times, and other event details are approximate and may change. We may adjust schedules, pause or end an activity, or remove sign-ups, for example if a participant is not present when called. Signing up does not guarantee a place or service.

6. Disclaimer

The site, our sign-up forms, and text messages are provided free of charge "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site or messages will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, J&Z Foundation and its directors, volunteers, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from delayed, missed, or undelivered messages or from your use of the site or our sign-up forms.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
